UK Law Degree in Pakistan

UK law degrees are recognized internationally, and having a Law Degree from the University of London is a great option to start your career. The University offers an LLM in International and Commercial Law. Many Pakistani students remain for up to a year and study for a Bar Council Entry Test, which is the prerequisite to obtain a license to practice in Pakistan. To get a UK Law Degree in Punjab first, you must obtain the full first degree.

To practice law in Pakistan you must be a graduate of law school with an UK LLB or equivalent. The obtaining of a UK LLB or LLM qualification does not automatically mean you can get legal practice in Pakistan. You must complete one year of a Graduate Diploma in Law, also called a Law Conversion Course, before you can legally practice in Pakistan. Likewise, you cannot take a diploma in Pakistani procedural laws if you have a UK LLB degree.

The University of London is the largest university in the UK, with over 50,000 students studying there. The University of London at Blackstone School of Law in Lahore offers an LLB (Hons) degree that will allow you to practice law in more than 80 countries around the world. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) recognizes the validity of a UK law degree awarded by a British institution and will accept it at any top-ranked university in the globe.
