UK law degrees are recognized internationally, and having a Law Degree from the University of London is a great option to start your career. The University offers an LLM in International and Commercial Law. Many Pakistani students remain for up to a year and study for a Bar Council Entry Test, which is the prerequisite to obtain a license to practice in Pakistan. To get a UK Law Degree in Punjab first, you must obtain the full first degree.
To practice law in Pakistan you must be a graduate of law school with an UK LLB or equivalent. The obtaining of a UK LLB or LLM qualification does not automatically mean you can get legal practice in Pakistan. You must complete one year of a Graduate Diploma in Law, also called a Law Conversion Course, before you can legally practice in Pakistan.
