further to amend the Governor’s Pension Order, 1974
WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Governor’s Pension Order, 1974 (P.O. No. 3 of 1974), for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (3) of Article 101 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to make the following Order:-
1. Short title and commencement.-(1) This Order may be called the Governor’s Pension (Amendment) Order, 2004.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of Article 2, P.O. No. 3 of 1974. In the Governor’s Pension Order, 1974 (P.O. No. 3 of 1974), hereinafter referred to as the said Order, in Article 2, in clause (1), for the words “five thousand” the words “ten thousand” shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of the Schedule, P.O. No. 3 of 1974. In the said Order, in the Schedule, in Serial No. 3, for the figure “1000” the figure “3000” shall be substituted.
