NATIONAL COUNTER TERRORISM AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2017
An Act to amend the National Counter Terrorism Authority Act, 2013

No. F. 23(3)/2017-Legis., dated 5.6.2017.–The following Act of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) received the assent of the President on the 3rd June, 2017 is hereby published for general information:–
WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the National counter Terrorism Authority Act, 2013 (XIX of 2013) for the purposes hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows:–
1. Short title and commencement.–(1) This Act may be called the National Counter Terrorism Authority (Amendment) Act, 2017.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of Section 6, Act XIX of 2013.–In the National Counter Terrorism Authority Act, 2013 (XIX of 2013), hereinafter referred to as the said Act, in Section 6, in sub-section (4), the words “each quarter of” shall be omitted.
3. Amendment of Section 8, Act XIX of 2013.–In the said Act, in Section 8, after sub-section (6), the following new sub-section (7) shall be added, namely:–
“(7) The Executive Committee may meet as and when required but it shall meet at least once in each quarter of a year.”.
