No. F. 9(8)/2016-Legis., dated 9.5.2016.–The following Act of Majlis-e-Shoora (Parliament) received the assent of the President on the 4th May, 2016 and is hereby published for general information:–
WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the National University of Sciences and Technology Act 1997 (No. XX of 1997) for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
It is hereby enacted as follows:–
1. Short title and commencement.–(1) This Act may be called the National University of Sciences and Technology (Amendment) Act, 2016.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of Section 10, Act XX of 1997.–In the National University of Sciences and Technology Act, 1997 (No. XX of 1997) in Section 10, in sub-section (1), for the words “engineering qualifications and experience” the words “qualifications and experience as prescribed by the Board”, shall be substituted.
