NOTIFICATION
REPRESENTATION OF THE PEOPLE (CONDUCT OF ELECTION) RULES, 1977

S.R.O. 640(I)/2015. dated 30.6.2015.–In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 107 of the Representation of the People Act, 1976 (LXXXV of 1976), the Election Commission, with the approval of the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, is pleased to direct that the following further amendments shall be made in the Representation of the People (Conduct of Election) Rules, 1977, namely:
In the aforesaid Rules, in Rule 9, in sub-rule (1), in the list of symbols,–
(a) after S. No. 9 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. Nos. 9A and 9B and the symbols relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“9A. Batsman
9B. Bear”;
(b) after S. No. 17 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 17A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“17A. Bow”;
(c) after S. No. 32 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 32A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“ 32A. Chitrali Cap”;
(d) after S. No. 42 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 42A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“42A. Crane”;
(e) after S. No. 46 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 46A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“46A. Diamond”;
(f) after S. No. 58 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. Nos. 58A and 58B and the symbols relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:—
“58A. Flag
58B. Flowerpot”;
(g) after S. No. 60 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 60A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
“60A. Frying Pan”;
(h) after S. No. 63 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 63A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–

(i) after S. No. 70 and the symbol relating thereto, the following new S. No. 70A and the symbol relating thereto shall be inserted, namely:–
