How does the Prevention of Trafficking in Persons Act 2018 protect victims?

The act provides various protections for victims of trafficking, in which the court may in specified circumstances:

     i.        Conduct the court proceedings in camera.

    ii.        Seal and restrict access to record of the court proceedings.

  iii.        Permit evidence of a victim or a witness behind the screen using the video link or other communications technologies to remain out of the view of the accused.
