Can a contract be revoked or modified after it has been completed?

A. As per Section 5 of the Contract Act 1872, after a transaction has ripened into a completed contract, it requires the consent of both parties to revoke or modify it. Once an offer to be bound by the special oath of the other party has been made and accepted, it cannot be revoked before the special oath has been taken.
